ABOUT
Familiar Faces is an alt/indie-rock trio from Long Beach, California, built on classic songwriting, live performance, and lived experience. Their mission is simple: bring that timeless feeling back. Rooted in the musicianship and emotional depth of classic rock, fused with modern production and emerging instrument-driven sounds, they're bridging the past and present for a generation ready to hear it.
Led by identical twins Chad and Sean Bierman (guitar/vocals) and Nonso Ikeji (bass/keys/vocals), the band lives that philosophy on and off the stage — pressing their debut album to vinyl, delivering high-energy live shows, and approaching everything with authenticity at the core.
Their resume speaks for itself. They've played The Troubadour, The Whisky a Go Go, and The Viper Room, headlined festivals on Utah's Salt Flats, toured the California Coast and Southwest, and won the Jam in the Van Battle of the Bands LA. Their single "Don't Stop Us" debuted nationally on SiriusXM Deep Tracks, they've aired on KLOS multiple times, and their music videos have collectively surpassed 100,000 views.
Their debut singles were mixed and recorded with GRAMMY-nominated engineer Erik Zobler. Their debut album In the Spotlight was recorded with Bob Clearmountain's team — including his main assistant Ira Becker and UK's 2024 Upcoming Producer of the Year Tayte Nickols — and mastered at Air Studios London by chief engineer John Webber. Erika Records believed in the band enough to press and donate 500 vinyl copies completely on their own initiative, expecting nothing in return.
Familiar Faces is currently in the studio, releasing new music consistently, and playing live shows regularly — always looking to bring the music to new stages and new audiences, and open to sessions and industry conversations.
